My name is Robyn and I am the owner of Ubiquitous Journey. I moved from Seattle
to the Suburbs almost 10 years ago with a goal to provide the smaller town environment for my son. I knew I was leaving some
of my favorite shops & stores behind, possibly forever. After a while it became harder & harder to accept that with
all the growth my neighborhood experienced, that we still didn't have many stores where we could get products that make
us feel good about our roles in the world. Products like clothing not produced from a sweat shop, but rather sewn on American
soil by people who are treated with dignity & respect rather than like slaves. I also miss seeing origional one of a kind
works of art produced by local people just sharing what they love. I did find the craft malls & have my favorites, but
there are so many more mediums out there not offered around here. On the other hand, you can go to a farm & buy fresh
local organic food from a local farmer that not only makes you feel like part of the community & the solution to a lot
of problems, but it tastes so good!
We all know our planet needs help. Some
of us believe global warming is due to human behavior, others believe the planet has a natural cooling and heating cycle and
that we're just witnessing it. What we can all agree on is that this is the planet we live on and because of our awareness;
we have a responsibility to try to stabilize the Earth’s conditions to fit our needs for survival.
It does not take a complete life over-haul to make a difference. It only takes a few steps and a lot of awareness.
We hope to engage your mind, intrigue your senses and allow you to experience products that help our environment while
nourishing your life.
~Welcome to
Ubiquitous Journey~
