Recycle Program
Part of our mission
is to reduce waste. One of the ways we can do this is by recycling. We already recycle everything we dispose of
from the store that is recyclable, but we want to do more. Here are our recycling programs that benefit our world, but
they also benefit you!
Shopping Bags
When you make a purchase at Ubi’s, we will always ask if you would
like a bag. We have bags available that our friends & customers bring in for us to reuse. You may donate bags to
us or bring one you may already have. We thought about offering to sell cloth shopping bags, but they are so expensive! So
if you already have one with another store’s logo on it, we won’t mind. We encourage you to use what you
already have & if you don’t already have a cloth shopping bag, we are more than happy to put your purchase in one
of our donated bags!
Candle Jars & Tea light Cups
When you bring back your candle containers, you will receive a discount
on your next candle purchase. Our candle maker will clean and reuse the containers until they are dead! She also
takes custom orders if you have a special request, just let us know!
Herb,
Spice, & Oil bottles
We offer our Seasonings,
Spices & Salts in glass shaker jars, recycled glass jars & in vegetable cellulose bags. If you already have a
jar for salt, spice or seasoning we will just put your new purchase in one of the cellulose bags to cut back on waste, it
also saves you money!
We now have tea tins available so you can just refill them with your favorite
teas! We can also give you a new lable with purchase to put on it if you need one!
If
you have any ideas how we can promote a greener shop, we welcome new ideas!
